Not off to a good start, arrived at 5.30pm and informed us that our room is not ready... For a supposed high end hotel, absolutely not good enough.

Enjoyed five nights at Novotel Perth Murray Street. The food at the Miss Mi restaurant was fabulous. The staff were mostly friendly. The room was nice - however, the window faced out to an apartment block so we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. We enjoyed the pool, however the area needed a repaint/uplift and the water was warm (courtesy of the hot weather) so not very refreshing. All in all we would probably stay there again. Note that you have to park across the road (not too much of a hassle)

Advertised that it has a bar provided at the pool area, but it was not operating on a Sunday in February with temperatures in the mid 30s. You are not allowed to have food in the pool area. The room service food was really poor quality and overpriced. For example, burger patties and crumbed squid clearly just deep fried out of a frozen packet. Rooms are fine, just standard quality for the price range.
The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the stadium. The elevators can take over 10 minutes to arrive if you are located on floors 16+. The hotel doesn't offer water through the mini bar or room service - which was not helpful during a 40+C heatwave. You have to go down to reception and fill your own drink bottle (if you have any with you) with warm water from the water station. Also bare in mind if you order food from services like uber eats, the rooms don't have cutlery or anything in the mini fridge. Definitely not worth the price of the room, only the convenience of the location.
All though we had some issues, the manger was onto it straight away and was more then happy to help out however she could. She was very friendly and polite and usually I would’ve just left after the issues we noticed but she made sure to fix all of them to the best of her ability
